The parent company of the Dollars & Sense program, College Funding Solutions, Inc. (CFS), has been in the college planning industry since 1993, assisting over 17,000 families from all over the United States.

Advisors who work with Dollars & Sense have the opportunity to retain CFS as their college planning service fulfillment center.  Given the fact that the college planning process is both highly sequential and extremely labor-intensive, most Advisors take advantage of the opportunity to outsource their back-end work to CFS.

• Standardized Testing – study guides and online practice tests; guidance on which tests to take and when, including testing dates and registration details; specific procedures, strategies, and tips for effective testing

• College Search, Selection, and Application Preparation – suggestions to help the student keep their options open and best match their desired criteria with institutions that offer those requirements.  When and how to apply for admission; specifics on the scoring of applications; what to include and avoid; and the most overlooked and underrated sections of the admission application

• The Funding Process – detailed workings of the process, including what makes up the funding package, proper asset positioning, institutional funding characteristics, special circumstances and their application, FAFSA and CSS/Profile preparation, Student Aid Report auditing, Award Letter evaluation, and additional funding negotiations
